It looks like a switch on the old joke "everyone talks gibberish except me."Is this cartoonist ironically showing how ridiculous peevologists are just because they switch the labels around?
I have no idea what this means, but when you look at the enlarged version, it's terrifying.
It's an odd thing. There's a terrifying level of self-awareness on the part of the grumbler, or a failed irony on the part of the cartoonist, or both.
I think the point is that we, the readers (hypocrites lecteurs!) speak gibberish too -- else how would we understand the speaker?
