Here's a photo someone sent me, asking the question "Is the image in the fireplace Jesus or Satan?" I'm adding a poll to the blog now for answers to the question. As always, comments are most welcome.
I cast a vote for the Poison fellow but I was really thinking of the guy who played for Soundgarden. As soon as I saw the picture I recognized Kim Thayil.
If one were going to say "Jesus," it strikes me that this may be one of the more probably realistic images of Jesus that I've ever seen. In terms of bone structure.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I started to go grunge or at least current metal with the third option, but couldn't resist a connection to an old hair band.
ReplyDeleteIsn't there a whole deal about what Jesus must have looked like (assuming he existed, etc.)? I'm not very plugged in on such stuff.
