That was a page 1 headline in the Wisconsin State Journal print edition this morning. (The online version of course would have to have a different title.)Bad phonology jokes aside, it shows again the absurdity of the way furloughs are being handled in Wisconsin: People are furloughed as a kind of temporary pay cut, then the same people are paid time and a half to cover the necessary shifts.
Does Wisconsin at least have a budget for the new fiscal year? If yes, you are way ahead of us here in AZ!
