Drawing clear boundaries

At the Linguistic Society of America meeting just past, in the area near where the American Dialect Society met, there was a room where some random meeting was going on at the same time. Apparently we barged in so often that they had to take desperate measures, shown on the right.

One of our contributors (Monica) just sent me this pic, unfortunately taken after somebody had added the -s to the original Linguistic.
