One of our contributors says his students have been bugging him to check out a recent Onion video piece:
They have a point, a pronking good point. Maybe this will drive up my cuss-o-meter rating.
The print Onion also contains an inaccuracy this week: A news in brief piece (not now up on the website) includes "linguists" among those concerned about "Commas, turning up, everywhere". Trust me, we don't care. I barely blink at glitches of this magnitude on CNN or in the paper, but I expect more from my fake news.
