Yes, I'll return to finish up the opacity deal, although I'm starting to feel a lot like the Tommy Lee Jones character, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, at the end of No Country for Old Men: Tired of all the bloodshed and unable to understand the level of violence around me. (And I can't believe I missed that Eric's DEE comment was specifically about phonological patterns.)

Wow. How did I not know about decentcommunity.org? I'm not too sure about the gigantic vats of grease deal, but I guess it is an alternative to senseless violence.
When I taught ESL, one of our Arabic speaking students came in and said, "I have trouble with my bowels."
Mr. Verb, I think you're being melodramatic. The level of violence in the comments here is nothing compared to other areas of the interwebs.
Well, not melodramatic, but maybe my tolerance is too low ...
