Well, you should never blog in haste. Ever-alert reader and lexicographical superstar Ben Zimmer points out:The "On Language" column about singular "they" was by Patricia T. O'Conner and Stewart Kellerman, guesting for a vacationing Safire.Finding an error on the internet obviously warrants an immediate post, but the bigger message is that Ben will be subbing for Safire.
