Linguistics news ... corpus linguistics MOOC and Journal for Historical Sociolinguistics

Busy times in linguistics. Just found out about a MOOC for corpus linguistics, offered by Lancaster University, available here. If anybody signs up for it, we here at Team Verb would be eager to hear how it goes.

That message came two hours after a message saying that beginning in the spring of 2015 De Gruyter will publish a new Journal of Historical Sociolinguistics. (See the Historical Sociolinguistics Network website, if you want to stay up on things in that subfield, though the journal isn't up there yet.)
