"Gate rape"

I've been actively avoiding paying any attention to the uproar over airport security and I find the term "gate rape" pretty over the top. But if you check UrbanDictionary, where it was the Urban Word of the Day on November 19, it turns out there's an entry for a completely different meaning from a year ago ...
When a person entering a gated community follows a car through the gate because they didn't know the code to get in.
I don't think I have been into a gated community before, so don't know the situation.

I can assure you that "gate rape" is not an expression that anybody who has experienced rape, molestation, or sexual harassment would find over the top. Physical violation of the person is exactly that - a violation. That the US government would give license to TSA officials to perpetrate body searches on people who are not convicted criminals is appalling. "Gate rape" is completely apposite as a descriptive term.

for that fact, doing this to a criminal is also appalling. A criminal, unless under the care of a prison institution still maintains all of their rights. Being a second class citizen makes it hard for them to find work, but they are still citizens. Coincidentally all of this is for nothing since they have not yet to catch one terrorist.

it is also an accurate statement, and not over the top. Gate by definition is the correct usage, and rape is the act of being forcecd into submission. If you do not submit to this you immediate are sent to holding. If they really want to rape you at that point they can treat you like a terrorist and hold you hostage until you're old and grey. Gate rape is one hundred percent accurate. Next time you fly eat a viagra first and make the look on their face worth the loss of your dignity.
