Since Mr. Verb has vanished, it falls to us, his minions, to keep the torch lit until he returns. I will just have to entertain you with stories of my adventures in lovely England. So far the best sign I've seen was the one that said:
Leg O'Mutton 1/2 mile(If I was better with formatting I could make that look like a highway sign, but I'm not, so I can't.)
Crapstone 2 miles
